To ensure the continued safety and comfort of all our guests, certain policies are in place for visitors to Chez Paris. If you have any questions in this regard, please feel free to contact us.
In the event of premature departure, the full period of the booking remains payable. Cancellations will be subject to the following fees:
- Less than 7 days prior to arrival, forfeit the full deposit
- 7-14 days before arrival, forfeit 75% of deposit
- 14-21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of deposit
- 21-28 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of deposit
- If you cancel your booking a fee of 10% of the deposit will be held in lieu of administrative and handling costs
Breakfast & dinner
We serve a full English breakfast, including yoghurt, cereals and fruits, that is included in our rates. Although our rates do not include dinners, they are available on request and with prior notice. If relevant, dietary requirements should be communicated beforehand.
Extended stay and group bookings
Rates for extended stays and group bookings will be negotiated to suit long-term guests. Please contact us in this regard to make arrangements.
According to South African tobacco legislation, all indoor areas are non-smoking. Smokers are kindly to smoke outside at the guest braai area next to the pool.
All bookings are to be confirmed by email. A 50% deposit within 48 hours of confirmation will secure accommodation. The balance is due before arrival via EFT or upon arrival in cash. Banking details for online payments will be made available on request. Cheques are unfortunately not accepted.
Chez Paris B&B shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA).
Accepted Payment Options
Payment may be made via Cash, Visa, MasterCard, or by bank transfer into Chez Paris B&B bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.
Card Acquiring and Security
Card transactions will be acquired for Chez Paris B&B via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
Customer Details Separate From Card Details
Customer details will be stored by Chez Paris B&B separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on DPO PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
Merchant Outlet Country and Transaction Currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
Chez Paris B&B takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
Chez Paris B&B may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
